Slick Rick has built his fortune on the backs of Georgia taxpayers, making over a billion dollars in state healthcare contracts – much of it in the form of no-bid contracts, meaning no competition whatsoever!
What’s more, he was recently caught red-handed by 11Alive extending a multimillion contract into 2027 – despite telling Georgians the week prior that he’d wind down his business with the state if he’s elected governor. That’s rich, Slick Rick!

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution recently reported on how Jackson charged a failing hospital with a predatory interest rate. The agreement includes “millions in other fees” and a “14% interest rate – that increases to 19% if payment is missed,” meaning Jackson will make more money if the hospital fails.
This comes as Jackson strongly opposes Medicaid expansion, fighting tooth and nail to preserve the same broken healthcare system that’s made him so rich.
Jackson just loves to flatter and take care of his fellow insiders. That’s why he can’t keep Trump’s name out of his mouth, saying that he’ll be “Trump’s favorite governor,” admitting to the AJC earlier this year that he can’t think of a single Trump policy he disagrees with, and giving him $2 million to prove his MAGA loyalty.
He even admitted to giving loads of money to politicians “good and bad” to advance his interests and grease the wheels of government. Now, he wants to buy your vote in November – but we need a real champion, not a slimy insider looking to do the bidding of his billionaire buddies.

Tariff tax increases are raising costs and taking money directly out of Georgians’ pockets – to the tune of $20 billion, one of the highest rates across the country. But Slick Rick found a way to short the stock market and make money off Trump’s “Liberation Day.”
What’s more, he’s literally going around to campaign events bragging about how much money he made off tariffs. He even told one voter earlier this year: “I went and bought options on the day that happened because I knew that was crazy and made an 80% return in four weeks.”
Trump’s Big Ugly Law has kicked 500,000 Georgians off their healthcare and jacked up premiums by more than $860 a month all across our state. But Rick Jackson doesn’t care – he strongly supports this disastrous legislation simply because it lowered his own taxes.

He even told one voter earlier this year: “If [Trump] hadn’t passed it—I’ll be honest with you—I’d be paying 40% more in taxes right now.” Slick Rick’s only ever thinking about himself.

Georgians are paying more and more for gas, almost a dollar more per gallon than this time last year. But all Slick Rick sees are dollar signs – when asked about gas prices earlier this year, he boasted about investing in an oil refinery, literally admitting to profiting off our pain at the pump.
What’s more, when asked about the gas tax that’s keeping gas prices sky high, Slick Rick defended the tax, calling it the “right, prudent thing to do.” There’s nothing right or prudent about deciding between filling your tank and putting food on your table.
